All Inclusive Couples Day Retreat
Our love of hosting people goes all the way back to our first year of marriage. We visited a Bed & Breakfast and both knew that someday we wanted to host people like that. We also knew early in our marriage that we wanted to invest deeply in helping people grow not only as individuals but also strong solid marriages. But.....then......life happened, hurt happened, parenting happened, “jobs” happened and some of those callings we felt early on seemed totally out of reach. I wish I could say that neither of us ever gave up on those nudges that we had felt early on, but the truth is, I think we both did at different moments.
We were blessed to have been surrounded by incredibly wise & loving mentors, solid friends, some discerning and talented therapists as well as a shared, strong, solid faith in God. Many times over the years we have picked ourselves back up and “restarted.” We were never willing to settle for a marriage that was just ok, or even good for that matter, we knew we wanted a GREAT marriage. And we also knew that in order to have a great marriage we had to learn how to Love Well.
Love Well Retreats was born in our hearts almost 2 decades ago but it wasn’t until recently that the Lord gave us clarity on the next steps that we are taking in 2024. We knew the direction we were called to go, but did not know the vehicle. Our hearts for loving all people well and never settling for good but pursuing great in our own marriage has led us to adopt the phrase LOVE WELL as a life mission. We are so grateful to be launching our retreats to serve YOU through all that we have been given from God.
